2024 Election Recap: What It Means for the A/E Industry

Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 3:00-4:00 PM Eastern

Join Steve Hall, ACEC’s Executive Vice President, and the ACEC Advocacy team for a special presentation to review the latest information on the results from the 2024 election cycle and what they mean for the engineering industry.

ACEC members will hear an analysis of the presidential contest – what were the factors that propelled Donald Trump to a second term and the issues that moved voters – as well as the latest information on outstanding House and Senate races. The Advocacy team will review anticipated regulatory actions to be taken by the incoming Administration, as well as the leaders likely to drive the key committees in the next Congress.

Members will also hear a briefing on the key industry issues that will drive ACEC’s agenda, with emphasis on legislation to extend the 2017 tax law and a new infrastructure initiative as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) expires in 2026.
